The Business
Etrion seeks attractive returns by producing clean electricity at the lowest possible cost using renewable and sustainable sources.

In the short term, Etrion is focusing on countries with specific government incentives for the development of renewable energy, such as direct capital subsidies, special feed-in-tariffs or tax incentives. While Etrion today operates primarily in Southern Europe’s attractive feed-in-tariff environment, we are preparing to diversify our operations in the near future. We believe Etrion has a bright future in other regions that are highly suitable for the production of electricity using renewable resources such as sun, wind and water. To achieve this goal, we work closely with technology partners that are committed to reducing costs in order to reach grid parity in the near future.

To initiate new projects or acquire current facilities in different markets, Etrion builds successful partnerships with local companies. We work closely with our business partners to secure the land and permits, and with local authorities and utilities to identify appropriate locations for optimal integration. Because our business strategy is based on long-term ownership and operation of these assets, we strive to ensure that our projects have strong local support and provide immediate benefits to these communities.
Etrion provides a wide portfolio of solutions that encompass site development, project finance, project construction and operations, as outlined in the following diagram:
