Ian H. Lundin Ian H. Lundin
Chairman

As Chairman, Ian H. Lundin provides strategic direction and guidance to Etrion’s operations. Mr. Lundin co-leads the investment initiatives of The Lundin Group since 2002. He serves on the board of several Lundin investments, including Lundin Petroleum AB, which today has exploration and production operations in 11 countries worldwide. Mr. Lundin graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1982 with a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering. In 1984, he joined The Lundin Group as drilling manager for International Petroleum Corporation (IPC). After directing several drilling operations in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, he was put in charge of worldwide operations in 1986. In 1990, he was appointed President and CEO of IPC. In 1998, the two Lundin Group companies, Sands Petroleum AB and IPC, merged to form Lundin Oil AB, and Mr. Lundin remained CEO. He became Chairman of the successor company, Lundin Petroleum AB, in 2002.
Ashley Heppenstall Ashley Heppenstall
Director

Since 1993, Ashley Heppenstall has worked with public companies controlled by the Lundin family. He served as Finance Director of Lundin Oil AB, a Swedish upstream oil and gas exploration and production company with worldwide operations in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Libya, Sudan and Papua New Guinea. After Lundin Oil AB was acquired by Talisman Energy in 2001, Mr. Heppenstall was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Lundin Petroleum AB, which was spun off to shareholders of Lundin Oil AB. Mr. Heppenstall is a graduate of the University of Durham where he earned a degree in mathematics.
Marco A. Northland Marco A. Northland
Chief Executive Officer and Director

Marco Northland has extensive experience leading growth companies. Prior to co-founding Etrion in 2008, he was responsible for establishing and overseeing European operations for SunPower Systems SA, a leading U.S. solar energy company. In this capacity, he secured commitments for several large-scale solar power plant projects in Spain, Italy, Germany and Portugal. Prior to SunPower, Mr. Northland held executive positions in various technology companies, including Chief Operating Officer for AT&T Latin America, Executive Vice President for FirstCom and Director for Panamsat. He has led or co-led several start-ups, including Americatel, Retinagenix and FirstCom. Mr. Northland earned a bachelor's degree in electrical/biomedical engineering and a master's degree in computer sciences from The George Washington University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
John Craig John H. Craig
Director

John Craig is a Canadian lawyer who has practiced in the area of securities law for over 35 years with a focus on equity financings acting for both underwriters and issuers, with an emphasis on resource companies. Mr. Craig has provided advice with respect to Toronto Stock Exchange listings, mergers, acquisitions, takeover bids and issuer bids and going-private transactions. He also is involved in the negotiation and drafting of mining, oil and gas concession agreements, joint venture agreements, operating agreements and farm-in agreements relating to resource properties in a variety of countries. Mr. Craig serves as a director of a number of publicly traded companies in Canada.
Clancy Cottman Clancy Cottman
Director

Clancy Cottman has over 25 years experience in the energy industry with a focus on joint ventures, acquisitions and project development. Mr. Cottman is Chairman, CEO and Founder of NiMin Energy Corp., a US-based oil and gas company traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. He is also on the Advisory Board to Nanes Balkany Partners, a hedge fund investor in small publicly traded energy companies. Mr. Cottman has held various senior management positions at PetroFalcon (Etrion’s predecessor company), Benton Oil & Gas and Sun E&P. He has negotiated numerous energy contracts and arranged multiple energy financings in both North America and internationally. He holds a BA from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island.
